Website care
Your website runs. I look after that.
Updates, backups, changes and content – so that you can look after your business instead of the technology. From € 59 a month net, three months minimum term.
- 3 months minimum term, then 3 months at a time
- Also for websites somebody else built
- Once a month a message about what happened
- One person to talk to, not a ticket system
The difference
A website without care ages quietly
The problem is never the missing update. The problem is the Tuesday morning when you notice that not a single enquiry has arrived for three weeks.
Without care
- The contact form has been sending nothing for months – nobody noticed, because no error message appears either
- Your site is offline. The host points at the developer, the developer gets back to you next week
- A price from last year is still online. A customer insists on it – and is legally in the right
- For a small thing you get a quote, because somebody has to work their way into your site again first
- The backup sits on the same server as the website. If that goes down, both are gone
- You do not know who to call. So you call nobody and keep putting it off
With care
- Your contact form gets a real test message every month – I see whether it arrives
- If your site goes down, I usually know before you do. And I get in touch instead of waiting for you to
- Prices, opening hours, a new offer: a short message from you is enough, I do the rest
- Changes are part of your package. No new quote, no working in again, no getting acquainted again
- Your backup sits elsewhere – and gets restored regularly, so that it is clear it really works
- You have a name and a number. No hold queue, no ticket system, no case number
Systems
Not just WordPress
What your website was built with is my problem – not yours. I look after all the common systems.
WordPress
The standard case. I keep the core, theme and extensions up to date – and check after the update that everything really still looks the way it did.
WooCommerce
A shop needs more attention than a website: payment methods, shipping rules, tax rates, legal texts. I keep an eye on it, you keep your head free.
Wix and Jimdo
There is nothing to maintain on the builder itself – but there is on your content, your visibility and the settings that are well hidden in there.
Shopify
I keep an eye on your apps, payment methods and legal texts. And on the monthly costs that like to add up unnoticed through apps.
Static websites
Little to do, but not nothing: availability, certificates, forms, and the content that should stay current.
Something else entirely
Typo3, Joomla, home-made? Send me the address. I will look at it and tell you honestly whether I am the right person for it.
Packages
What the care costs
All packages run for three months and extend by three months at a time unless you give notice one month beforehand, effective at the end of a month. You can still switch at any point – upwards as well as downwards.

per month
For shops and websites you actually earn money with.
- Everything from Standard
- Three hours of changes a month
- An eye on your visibility, not just the technology
- If something breaks, you are at the front
All prices net, plus 20 % VAT. Unused hours expire at the end of the month – in return an additional hour never costs you more than the regular hourly rate.
Content upkeep
Maintenance keeps your website alive. Content keeps it interesting.
Those are two different things – and the second one almost always gets left. Not out of neglect, but because your day is full.
Content upkeep means: I write, update and add to what is on your website. A new service, changed prices, a post on the subject your customers are searching for right now. You tell me in two sentences what it is about – I take on the rest.
- What is part of it. Reworking copy, swapping images, writing posts, updating offers and prices, keeping opening hours current.
- What is not. Social media. That is a job of its own with its own rhythm – and I would rather do one thing properly than two halfway.
- How it is billed. Through the hours in your care package. If that is not enough, we talk about it beforehand. Not afterwards.
Taking over
How I take on your existing website
Including when the person who looked after it before is no longer reachable. That happens more often than you think – and is no reason to feel awkward.
-
I look at what is there
What your website runs on, how old the state of it is, what is genuinely urgent. You get the result in writing and in plain language – including when we do not work together afterwards.
-
We collect the access details
Hosting, domain, WordPress, email. If one is missing, I get it from the provider – that is routine and usually only needs a short confirmation from you. You do not have to hunt for something you cannot find.
-
I tidy up
Create a backup, catch up on updates, remove unused extensions. What that costs as a one-off depends on the state of things – and is fixed before I start.
-
Then it runs
From now on, what is in your package happens every month. And once a month you get a short message about what was done. No more, but no less either.
Frequent questions
What you should know beforehand
Look first, decide afterwards
Just send me the address of your website. You get an honest assessment from me of what is urgent and what can safely wait – including when we do not work together afterwards.
